Hannah Was a Woman with a Burden and a Dream
Hannah was the childless wife of El/ka/nah
Peni/nnah, El/ka/nah’s other wife had children
Peni/nnah mocked Hannah because she was barren

(1:6) …And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb. …all I can say is WOW the second wife of Hannah’s husband

El/ka/nah loved Hannah, but she still felt unfulfilled …Hannah was the first wife, His first love…

Hannah Had a Life-Changing Day at the Temple
Hannah went with her husband to the temple…she poured out her heart to the Lord and Eli saw her

She went home knowing that she would bear a child… she had no doubt about what she said
