Hello, Railfans, and Welcome to United Railroad Historical Society of New Jersey at Boonton, New Jersey. Almost a 1/2 mile away from the Boonton NJ Transit Train Station (as of this video closed for the weekends because stops at Bay Street Station from Hoboken Terminal). Without further ado, let’s get on with this today’s video.

We got very famous locomotives from various railroad. There are railfan photographies, and video makers that they came to see it. We got Pennsylvania Railroad 4877 Altoona GG1, Pennsylvania Railroad 7000 EMD GP9, Morristown & Erie 19 ALCO C-424, New York Central 4083 EMD E8A, Erie Railroad 436 EMD SW9, Erie Railroad 03125 Breakdown Train, and more, coming on next fall in 2023, URHS will restore NJT 4172 (Erie Lackawanna 3372) GE U34CH to run again even the engine.
For the U34CH restoration, they’ll reach up to $10,000 for the Tri-State Railway Historical Society. After the 34 GE U34CH’s retired (33 for NJT and 1 for MNCR) and replaced by the 39 EMD GP40PH-2’s (13 for NJT GP40PH-2’s, 6 for NJT GP40PH-2A’s, and 19 for NJT GP40PH-2B’s and 1 for MNCR GP40PH-2/M). Around from mid-90’s through today, most railfans really missed the U34CH’s after retirement. For more information about the 3372’s restoration, visit online at https://www.urhs.org/u34ch.

We got a very special surprise with the URHS’s special guest... It’s... NJT 4109 EMD GP40PH-2 “CNJ” 40th Anniversary Edition. We’re glad to see it.
