This is a showcase of the modified title screen that will be included in a mod I am working on. The video was sourced directly from the reveal trailer for the PS5 Demon's Souls remake. The image becomes a bit crusty after the video portion plays out, but I am working on amending this.

This video was recorded on RPCS3, using a modified ReShade preset (with Vulkan compatibility enabled globally) by Nexus Mods user Boczekek.

The process of making this work was insanely convoluted, as the video files used by Demon's Souls (and many other PS3 games, including the system itself) are in the .PAM/.PAMF format. This is a proprietary file format that can only be encoded and decoded properly using proprietary Sony tools. I cannot provide links to any of them due to the questionable legality surrounding their distribution, but I will confirm that they can be found with a bit of digging.

Once the video was done, I then had to work with the ever-confusing title screen texture, which was stored in a TPF archive in the DDS format. The confusing part came with the fact that the image itself is not 1:1 with the way it is displayed in-game. The texture itself is 1024x1024, but the graphic is cropped at its edge, with the rest of the texture rotating and wrapping around below the first portion. There is no distinguishing pattern or formula to this occurrence, so a lot of trial and error was required in order to make it look the way it should.
