One of the interesting things about Ijo Temple in DIY is the arrangement of the temples, which are not concentric like the temples on the Kedu plain, but rather linear like the Majapahit era temples. This is quite surprising, because not only based on its location, but also from its style, this temple is very "Central Javanese" aka "Medang". Ijo Temple is even more special because it is surrounded by other temples, for example the Ratu Boko Site, Barong Temple, and Banyunibo Temple, not counting other smaller sites. The history of Jogja's Ijo Temple is still shrouded in mystery. However, some historians associate it with Rakai Walaing Pu Kumbhayoni who is often mentioned as the ruler of the Boko hills.

Ijo Temple is the highest temple in Jogja, and is one of the favorite tourist destinations, especially for those who are into photography. This temple is an ideal location to see the sunset, with maximum beauty.

It turns out that there are many unique facts about Indonesian history that are worth looking at, of course from a new perspective.
