Nuwara Eliya Post Office | නුවරඑළියේ තැපැල් කන්තෝරුව

දෙශීය මෙන්ම විදේශීය සංචාරකයන්ගේද දැඩි ආකර්ෂණයට පත්ව තිබෙන ඉංග්‍රීසි පාලන සමයේ 1894 වසරේ බ්‍රිතාන්‍යය ජාතිකයන් විසින් මෙම සුන්දර නිර්මාණය ඉදිකර තිබෙනවා.
නුවරඑළිය නගරයේ වටිනාකම වැඩි කරන විශාල තෝතැන්නක් තමයි මේ තැපැල් කාර්යාලය. නුවරඑළිය නගරයට අනන්‍ය ගෘහ නිර්මාණ ලක්ෂණ බොහොමයක් මේ ඉපැරැණි ගොඩනැගිල්ලෙ බලාගන්න පුළුවන්.
ශ්‍රී ලංකා තැපැල් දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව විසින් 1990 වසරේ දෙසැම්බර් 26 දිනට යෙදුණු ශ්‍රී ලංකා තැපැල් 17 වන සංවත්සරය නිමිත්තෙන් තැපැල් කාර්‍යාලයේ චායාරූපයක් සහිත රු 10ක වටිනාමකින් යුත් මුද්දරයක් නිකුත්කර තිබෙනවා. නැවත 2016 වසරේද රු 150ක් වටිනා මුද්දරයක් නිකුත්කර තිබෙනවා.
2007වසරේ මෙම ගොඩනැගිල්ල පුරාවිද්‍යා ආරක්ෂිත ස්මාරකයක් ලෙස ප්‍රකාශයට පත්කර තිබෙනවා.
නුවරඑළිය සංචාරය කරන ඔබ විසින් නැරඹීය යුතුම ස්ථානයක් ලෙස මේ සුන්දර ගොඩනැගිල්ල හදුන්වන්න පුළුවන්

The Sri Lanka Postal Department has issued a Rs 10 stamp with a photo of the post office on the occasion of the 17th anniversary of Sri Lanka Post on 26 December 1990. Again in 2016, a stamp worth Rs 150 has been issued.
In 2007, this building was declared as an archaeological protected monument.
