You put the "u" in harboUring. As in, "U" are harbouring that resentment inside of you. The person you fool is yourself because we think that this dissolves and automatically goes away. The truth is, it doesn't. It ends up as passive aggression, slights, anger, middle finger traffic sign-language, infidelity, fighting others, and on and on. You HAC and it ends up as issues in your tissues.

I had issues giving myself permission to do things for myself each day. I would sleep in late because I felt I was in a marriage where I did not belong. So, I distracted and covered this up within myself by working, landscaping, taking care of my own property, drinking alcohol, the kids; you didn't show up for you. STOP IT!

Everyday, start it "doing you first". Start with both feet on the floor doing your things first by doing your exercises, your affirmations, your coffee or tea, stretches for you. Each time, and each day you do this, you prove to yourself that you are first. Your kids and wife begin to see this and you help them form their template for which to make yourself #1.

Make time for yourself, everyday. Make yourself a priority.
