This was an epic race, lots of dnf and riders doing only one lap due to the hard conditions. It was slippery from start to finish and my goal was to stay up on my bike and not hit the deck like lots did. I managed to finish 16th although I felt I didn’t know how to ride anymore, it was a bit frustrating, especially on the hills in the woods. It was backed up all the way throughout those sections and it was very hard to navigate.
A special mention to Howie Fine who decided to do some gardening right after the start (1min15sec). Hope you and the other gardeners involved are fine. Thanks to the club for a great organization that made for a memorable race.
