This week I sat down with keyboardist and producer Alex Murphy, ahead of his Robert Glasper Tribute show. We spoke about his earliest encounters with Glasper’s music, from the early trio records to the more recent Black Radio collaborations, the impact Robert Glasper’s genre bending sound has had on the music industry as a whole, and Alex told us about some of the special guests who will be joining him on stage this Saturday evening.
