Professor Chiyuma Elliott, who teaches Afro-American Literature at the University of California (Berkeley), spoke at the introductory session of the conference, held from 25 to 27 May at the headquarters of 'La Civiltà Cattolica', entitled 'The Global Aesthetics of the Catholic Imagination', organised in collaboration with Georgetown University in Washington. Prof. Elliott spoke about the Incarnation as the technology God used to integrate his Word of mercy into our harsh reality.
