The director of "La Civiltà Cattolica", Fr. Antonio Spadaro SJ, spoke on the second day of the conference entitled "The Global Aesthetics of the Catholic Imagination", organised in collaboration with Georgetown University in Washington. Fr. Spadaro proposed and described a shortlist of authors particularly loved by Pope Francis, explaining the importance of literature in the Pontiff's pastoral and political vision.
