My friends took me to a mountain called Lair O Bear out in Colorado. It had an extremely fun trail. But on the way to the trail we came across of a climb. And If you have been to this trail you know exactly where it is. A climb that seemed nearly impossible for anyone to complete. Many mountain bikers tried and tried and very few have actually done it. Some did not even attempt it. Maddy conquered it prior to bringing me here and did it once again while we were there. I knew this was a challenge I needed to complete. The first time we went we were with other friends so I did feel bad for trying this climb for over an hour knowing that we still needed to climb more to get to the actual trail. So Day one we called it quits. Day 2 I went back with just Madison, I lost sleep over this one, I knew It needed to be done. The climb was just so cocky and very steep that it made it so difficult. Not to mention the huge holes that got in the way every time too. I was struggling. I was tired. I felt defeated. I almost gave up! But giving up in life is Not an option. After two days worth of attempts I finally did it!!! The greatest feeling ever and I am so glad I had Maddy there to cheer me on the whole time.
