News 4 San Antonio has spent a whole year helping people with their surprise medical bills. Everyone either knows someone who has been through this hardship or has been through the pain of receiving surprise medical bills themselves.
With the creation of the Show Me Your Bill series, News 4 was able to save their viewers more than $800,000 by getting providers to cancel surprise bills or by getting insurance companies to cover the claims that were initially denied.
