On Sunday October 10th, 2021 I made a visit to Amtrak's Empire Corridor in the upper Hudson Valley. Staatsburg has been a location I've been wanting to visit for quite some time. Especially because of the classic on New York Central signals still standing tall and proud in service. We caught 4 Amtrak trains while in Staatsburg. One of them being train 244 with the Hickory Creek observation car which was used on New York Central's 20th Century Limited.
