Come along for a trip up the Hudson River from New York City to the village of Rhinecliff. This roughly 95 minute trip is my single most traveled segment in the Amtrak system. As we race up the historic Hudson Division that once hosted famous named trains like the 20th Century Limited, the Empire State Express, the Pacemaker and the Laurentian, take in the sights of scenery and landmarks old and new in the Hudson Valley and see what it’s like to travel in Business Class on Amtrak’s Empire Service.
