How to fix the Flashing DPF Light without taking your car to Mazda.
This was an issue for me, as my nearest Mazda dealer is over 100KM away... in a different state. And the fact that in the GH MZR-CD model, Mazda use the DPF Light not just for the DPF, but they also use this light as the Service Light.

Always check for error codes using an ELM-327 Device before performing this reset. as there are many reasons for the DPF light to flash.

If the light returns or stays on after running this fix, then you DO have an issue with the DPF, Or a Stretched Timing Chain, or, there's an issue with your oil such as it being overfilled past the X marker.
Either way, if the light returns, immediately take it to your service centre.

If the light stays out, it was just the "service due" light. (Expect it to return in another 10,000km)
