Thompson’s Falls in Nyahururu, Kenya, was discovered by Geologist and Naturalist Joseph Thompson from Scotland in 1883, Thompson’s Falls is 74 metres high, 243ft.

We had an early start briefly stopping at Thompson’s Falls, then onto Lake Nakuru for our morning Game Drive, after lunch we drove to Lake Naivasha.

Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in the town of Naivasha in Nakuru County, Keny and is situated in the highest point of the Rift Valley.

It has over 400 different kinds of birds and over 1,500 Hippo’s.
We enjoyed seeing Giraffe, Zebra, Buffalo, Elephant, Leopard, Gazelles at the Lake.

We stayed at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge, for 1 night in September 2011, it has 84 cottages and is set in 120 hectares of grassland, surrounded by trees.

The cute little cottages are beautiful and it served a wide range of delicious foods in the restaurant.

The resident Giraffes, Waterbucks and Monkey’s at Sopa Lodge come straight up to your cottage to say hello, it was an amazing place to stay.

At the end of the video you can see Thompson’s Falls and pictures of Animals, Birds, and Naivasha Sopa Hotel.

Please watch to the end of the video and use language subtitles if needed.
