Iman Danial telah disahkan menghidap Leukemia Limfoblastik Akut Pra-B pada Disember 2020. Beliau telah menamatkan kemoterapi oral pada Mac 2023 dan kini sedang menjalani rawatan susulan bulanan dibawah Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh. Iman Danial merupakan murid Darjah 1 dan masih tinggal bersama 5 ahli keluarga yang lain (ayah, ibu, kakak, datuk, nenek). Dia masih ditanggung oleh bapanya yang bekerja sebagai pekebun manakala ibunya yang membuka gerai tepi jalan menjual nasi lemak dan kuih. Iman Danial telah menerima bantuan kewangan daripada MAKNA sejak Januari 2021.

Founded by Dato’ Mohd Farid Ariffin in 1994, Majlis Kanser Nasional (MAKNA) is a Malaysian non-profit dedicated to alleviating the burden of cancer. Through a holistic approach encompassing cancer care, detection and awareness, emotional support, and research, MAKNA strives to ensure equitable access to resources and empower individuals and communities in their fight against cancer. Their unwavering commitment to compassion, equity, collaboration, and innovation has resulted in supporting almost 90,000 patients, reaching over 80,000 people through awareness campaigns and conducting over 70,000 cancer screenings across the country.

MAKNA's mission revolves around mobilising resources in order to provide curative, preventive, research and support services to cancer patients and their families, high-risk groups and the general public, in Malaysia and the world.The organisation strives to pool and utilise all efforts, expertise and finance of all sectors of the society to fight cancer and reduce related pain, morbidity and the suffering that cancer patients undergo. In addition to awareness efforts, MAKNA offers a range of services, including patient assistance, cancer screening, and cancer education. Through collaborations with government agencies, healthcare institutions, corporate partners, and other non-profit organisations, MAKNA aims to create a united front against cancer and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by the disease.
