Taishan District of New Taipei, neighboring Xinzhuang, Linkou, and Wugu. Originally part of Xinzhuang Township, it didn’t become an independent town until 1950. Its name comes the “Taishan” in the names of two local temples, “Taishan Up” and “Taishan Down”. Over 70% of Taishan is mountains or rivers. There’s no (Taisun Brand) Mixed Congee or Honey Herbal Jelly. So, what’s special about this place?
