Linkou District, New Taipei City, located at the western tip of New Taipei City, adjacent to Taoyuan. From 2001 onwards, Taipei and New Taipei housing prices have skyrocketed, forcing many people to move to Linkou for affordable housing. According to New Taipei City’s Department of Civil Affairs, the population of Linkou increased by 5,610 from 2019 to 2020. The increase was the highest of all districts in New Taipei City. But because road access relies on National Freeway 1, traffic is heavy between Linkou and other parts of the city. Linkou people are either stuck in traffic, or on their way to be stuck in traffic. Today, HahaTai presents the leisurely people of daytime Linkou.
