The ALL-NEW 2025 Kia Tasman - MOST Powerful Pickup Truck?

There are automakers such as Toyota, whose cars are everywhere. There’s even a time when every car in front of you was probably a Toyota. On the other hand, there are others, like Kia, who are silent. However, that silence doesn’t mean that they don’t have some fantastic cars. Kia produces cars that are actually very reliable, efficient, and practical. Now, they have decided to release their own pickup truck, which they are calling Tasman. From the designs that have been put up on the internet, this seems like a very interesting truck. I mean, the design is unlike anything we have seen. But what more does it have to offer? Let’s find out, shall we?
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to our channel. Today, we will look at the 2025 Kia Tasman as we learn what this unique truck has to offer. But before we continue, make sure you leave a like and subscribe to our channel for more amazing updates on your favorite cars. And with that, let’s look at the 2025 Kia Tasman.
Kia has come a long way from the dark ages, which were known as the 1990s and early 2000s. From this time to now, they have come to be one of the major players in the car world, alongside sister company Hyundai. One might think that, having become successful, the Korean company can finally rest on its laurels. However, that is not the case at all. The automaker has come up with quite a few brand-new models in the making. And in case you are unaware of it, one of them will be a body-on-frame pickup.
Nonetheless, today is not about the alleged open-bed electric model from the Korean automaker. Today, our focus is on the Tasman, which is edging closer to production as you watch this. We have already seen a few renderings of it and a fully camouflaged prototype that revealed some of its secrets. Therefore, it is time to talk about the workhorse, which is expected to launch soon. But even before we continue, it is essential to mention that it will be facing off against the Jeep Gladiator, the Nissan Frontier, the Ford Ranger, and the Toyota Tacoma, among others, in this field.
Comparing the renderings with the spy shots, the window line looks spot-on, and so do the door handles, which have fortunately evaded the flush-mounted design that is becoming a bit too familiar in today’s industry.
The Kia Tasman tester that we have just talked about had a dual-cab body style, and it could sit up to five adults. That is, two at the front and three on the rear bench. It also had a very lovely interior, with black leather upholstery that would likely be on the options list. Elsewhere, we can expect it to get the usual smartphone integration, Bluetooth connectivity, sat-nav, and maybe even Wi-Fi hotspots and over-the-air updates.
Naturally, this is a truck that is supposed to come with a four-wheel drive system on the deck. However, it won’t come as much of a surprise if the company were to offer the lesser flavors with two-wheel drive, just to keep the costs down. Furthermore, we can also expect it to feature an automatic transmission, most likely a dual-clutch unit for quicker gear changes.
We have already seen that this is quite the pickup truck and is coming to terrorize the industry. Kia is clearly planning to get ahead of its competitors. That leaves us with one question: when can we expect to see the 2025 Kia Tasman on the road?
Kia Australia is targeting the launch of the Tasman sometime in mid-2025. However, the road there was not at all easy.
The 2025 Kia Tasman is going to be a very interesting car. The renderings have already shown an interesting design.
But what do you think? Do you think the 2025 Kia Tasman has what it takes to defeat its rivals? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below. And before you go, make sure you leave a like and subscribe to our channel for more amazing updates on your favorite cars.
