Back to Hong Kong today to Admiralty! Admiralty forms one of the most iconic sections of Hong Kong's central business districts and home to some of the most recognisable buildings like the Lippo Tower and the Bank of China building. But it's not somewhere people often go on foot; you'll see a lot of it if you're walking across the avenue of stars, but at a considerable distance. I thought I'd explore the area on a weekday morning between other walks I'd planned.

So: We start at Admiralty MTR station (Exit C1), moving to the Lippo Centre along Queensway. We cross past Cotton Tree Drive to the Bank of China Tower to Chater Garden and the old Court of Final Appeal Building — which I learned was actually designed by the same architects who worked on eastern facade of Buckingham Palace (!). From there we go to the Statue Square, with its fountains and art pieces, and end at the City Hall Memorial Garden.
