This film sets out to explore and document the world of wild horses that inhabit the Eastern Barrier Islands of the United States. These include Assateague Island National Seashore in Maryland, The Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge in Virginia, Cumberland Island in Georgia, and Shackelford Banks and Corolla National Wildlife Refuge In North Carolina.
