Michael Todd is seven weeks out from his match with Genadi and feels he will be 10-15% stronger compared to his previous match against Kamil. He mentions that if he had been 10% stronger in his first match against Genadi, he probably would have won, although he made technical errors.
He believes the best strategy to beat Genadi is to get him out of position from the start, taking his wrist, maintaining strong pronation, back pressure, and a strong cup. If the match is prolonged, it won’t be about endurance but heart, and Michael believes he will have more heart on that day.
When comparing Genadi’s press to Kamil’s press, Michael highlights that Genadi is more versatile and explosive, capable of hitting sideways or pressing with his shoulder. He recalls how Genadi pulled Devon out of his shoulder during their match, demonstrating impressive strength.
Michael acknowledges that Genadi is returning from an injury but is confident that Genadi has already tested his strength and will be fully prepared. Michael expects an even stronger version of Genadi this time and is training intensively. His ultimate goal is to face Levan, but to achieve that, he must first overcome Genadi.
