What is the difference between Armenians, Georgians and Azerbaijanis?
An amazing thing: in central Russia, as it turned out, people do not always distinguish between these Caucasian peoples! Now we fix the situation!

First of all, I must say that these people speak languages ​​that are completely different and incomprehensible to each other.

The language of the Georgians is a Kartvelian group, it does not even belong to the Indo-European family. Georgian is unique, it resembles only its two Kartvelov-Megrelian and Svan languages. A distinctive feature of the Georgian accent in the Russian language: it is difficult for Georgians to pronounce soft vowels correctly, they often pronounce all the syllables of a word with approximately the same length.

The Armenian language belongs to our good old Indo-European group. But since ancient times it has stood alone, not being close to any other Indo-European (maybe very far to the Greek or dead Phrygian). Russian-speaking Armenians are distinguished by a special soft accent, sometimes “P” is rolled out strongly. (all arrrrmya understand).

Azerbaijani is a Turkic language with a considerable number of Arabic and Persian loans. It is well understood by Turks and Turkmens, somewhat worse by other Turkic peoples. When speaking in Russian, Azerbaijanis tend to over-pull the stressed syllables in their words and vice versa - almost swallow the last syllables (do you drive cars?).

All three nations differ in faith.

Georgians are Christian people, professing Orthodoxy, like Russians, Bulgarians or Greeks. Although there are Muslims among Georgians: Ajarians, Iranian Georgians, Lazy in Turkey.

Armenians are also Christians, but special ones. They are Monophysites, that is, they do not recognize the human principle in Jesus Christ. Armenians have their own Christian rite, different from the Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant.

Azerbaijanis are Shia Muslims. This (along with the Sunnis) is one of the two main branches of Islam. Shiites believe that the leadership of the Muslim community should belong to the imams - appointed by Allah, the chosen people from among the descendants of the prophet. Imam Hussein is also honored, in whose honor Shahsey Wahsei is organized, during which he is injured with whips.

Armenians, Georgians and Azerbaijanis are very different appearance.

Azeris are usually of medium height (men - 170-175 cm), they have thick eyebrows and oval faces. Noses are more often even. Usually - dark brunettes.

Georgians are generally very different. Often there are high growth (from 175), with "eagle" sharp profiles. Many brunettes, although among the Georgian mountaineers (Svans, Tushins, Khevsurs) there are also very blond personalities.

Armenians are about as tall as Azerbaijanis. A characteristic feature is the big nose (now even surgery to reduce it is common in Yerevan). Most are brunettes, but there are also red Armenians.
