Imaging of pituitary adenomas, the most frequent pituitary tumor and also highly prevalent in the general population, with a reported prevalence in autopsy and radiological studies of up to 16.7%. In this presentation typical and less typical imaging manifestations of pituitary micro- and macroadenomas are discussed.
