I'm sharing here how we propagate Black Locust from root cuttings in the spring, as the soil warms. This simple technique can be applied for any plants that indicate that 'root cuttings' are a viable propagation technique. So far Black Locust has proven to be an excellent candidate for this, and our trials with some varieties of Dwarf Sour Cherries have done beautifully.
