Finally! Another episode of Plant Propagation 101. Since it's winter, I figured We'd address one of the most important tools for rooting hardwood cuttings, bottom heat. Does bottom heat help cuttings root faster? Absolutely! Bottom heat can greatly speed up the cellular activity at the root zone and get your cuttings rooting faster and more assuredly. If you haven't played around with putting bottom heat under your hardwood cuttings, then seriously consider trying it and you'll be amazed at the results.
