Gochujang bibim guksu (2 servings)

[Ingredients]

* Bibim guksu

200g thin noodles
6 tbsp (36g) ground sesame seeds
Sauce
Sesame oil

* Sauce

1/3 cup (80g) gochujang (red pepper paste)
4 tbsp (30g) vinegar
3 tbsp (36g) brown sugar
1 tbsp (10g) dark soy sauce
1/2 tbsp (3g) fine red pepper powder
1 tbsp (20g) minced garlic

[Directions]

1. Mix the gochujang, vinegar, brown sugar, dark soy sauce, fine red pepper powder, and minced garlic, and stir until the sugar is dissolved to make the sauce.
2. Cook the thin noodles in boiling water.
3. When water is about to boil over after putting in the noodles, pour in a half cup of cold water.
(Repeat this process 3 times.)
4. Once the noodles are completely cooked, remove from water, rinse under cold water while rubbing hard to remove the starch.
5. Completely drain the water from the noodles.
6. Put the cooked noodles in a bowl and top with the desired amount of sauce.
7. Drizzle some sesame oil.
8. Grind the sesame seeds in a mortar and sprinkle on bibim guksu.
