An average teenage girl becomes an iconic outlaw hero after her brother accidentally shot a man who tried to force himself on her. Though the authorities promise her safety as long as she turns herself in, Billie Jean insists on making the man pay—literally—for what his son did to her brother and his motorcycle. With the help of their friends, the siblings run away with Billie Jean leaving a blazing trail in her wake as the modern Joan of Arc.
