Pope Nst is no stranger in Ghana's music scene, a youngster trying to make a difference with his voice and creative songwriting skills. He is doing so much; from rap battles on TV and radio, releasing freestyle videos, all the way to yearly EPs and mixtapes.
Pope Nst is a final year medical student at the University of Ghana, Legon. This project comes off as his first studio album after the release of "Time (Mixtape)" in 2019 and three EPs in the subsequent years as an independent artist. I was inspired by my class to make this album which started in 2020 when I requested for whatsapp voice notes from my mates. All the songs were born out of my University experience, and production was done by Prince “Ipappi” Fosu.

"UGMS" is the acronym for University of Ghana Medical School. "An idea to write a song for my school came up after our 60th anniversary celebration in March 2022. I chose the highlife genre because I want something both alumni and current students can relate to. I have recorded over 50 songs and this is the only one I didn’t rap, so I this it’s special" he explained.
