Chenché de las Torres is an old hacienda whose architectural style reminds us of medieval times, since both its main house and the power house have large towers that resemble a castle.

Chenche de las Torres probably comes from the 18th century, in times
colonial, and became known after the henequen boom. After
belong to the Counts of Miraflores, the Manzanilla family buys it from the
last descendant of those, Countess Doña Candelaria Peón y Peón.
Finally, it currently belongs to Mrs. Isabella Kimerman, who
has been in charge of its most recent restoration.

In its construction you can see some shields similar to those used in Germany and England during the Renaissance.

Through the undergrowth you can see its beautiful Gothic style chapel.

To get there, take the Cansahcab - Temax highway, shortly before reaching it, at kilometer 15, take the detour to your right. You can recognize the entrance formed by two columns topped by a lintel similar to a castle tower.
