Allah sent Prophets and Apostles to call people to obedience to Him. Apart from that, the Prophets and Apostles were also sent to be role models for mankind. One of the Prophets who can be a role model for patience when facing trials is Prophet Ayyub.

Prophet Ayyub alaihissalam lived in 1420-1540 BC. He is of Roman origin. He was sent by Allah to call on his people, namely the people in the Huran area (around Jordan and Syria), to worship Allah.
