The story of the Prophet Elias and the Idol Worshipers who were lifted up to Heaven

Prophet Ilyas alaihissalam is the fourth descendant of Prophet Harun a.s. and has the full name Ilyas bin Finhash bin Azar bin Harun bin Imran bin Qahits bin Aziz bin Laway bin Yakub bin Ishaq bin Ibrahim.

The story of Prophet Ilyas a.s. found in the Al-Quran Al-Anam verse 85 and As-Saffat verses 123-132. Where in Surah As-Saffat verse 123, it is also explained that the Prophet Ilyas a.s. included as one of the apostles of Allah SWT.

"Indeed, Ilyas is truly among the apostles," (QS. As-Saffat: 123).
