Eponine Howarth is the first French football player in Argentina, but she is also a polyglot, a lawyer, writer, translator, teacher, researcher, she has a master's degree from Cambridge and she loves alfajores.
She recently arrived in Argentina without knowing that she would end up playing in the first division. I interviewed her after a training session at the club Ferro Carril Oeste where she plays as a striker and found her to be an extremely interesting and pleasant person.
What did she taste of Argentina? What does she think of Argentines? How did she get from Cambridge to Caballito? How did she learn Spanish? Why was she paid to read? What is her relationship with cemeteries?
