"Every winter I send my sorrel mare, Peach, further south for a couple of months where she can pasture on grass and have a running stream for water. This means her companion horse, Mojo - a buckskin owned by a neighbor - gets to go back to his owner. Both horses miss each other during that time.
Late this January I brought Peach back to Lincoln County in southern New Mexico, not arriving until 2 a.m.: too dark to go fetch Mojo. The two horses whinnied at each other the whole rest of the night.
In the morning I asked Mojo's owner to just let him loose, as I knew Mojo would run to Peach. This is the filming of that event.
I either own or have permission for all material in this film. Ghost Riders in the sky played by the Arizona Opry, recorded live.
