My latest #HomeHints video. A look at the announcements in the budget on Wednesday 3rd March that are related to the property industry. Including the Stamp Duty Land Tax holiday extension, what it is, what effect it has on the market and how much you could save as well as the 95% mortgages.

I'll be looking at both the pros and cons of the 95% mortgages as in the property industry it's not one size fits all and so whilst these are designed to help people with a small deposit get on the market there are some things to be wary of and they may not be for everyone. I'd advise always getting a mortgage broker who will talk you through different products and what is best for your situation.

I'll also be comparing these 95% mortgages with the Help To Buy scheme and how they differ.

As you can tell if you follow my page, I love the property industry and my whole life pretty much revolves around property! As much as I enjoy it, I feel a responsibility to highlight that it can be a risky business and it's important to educate those looking to get into the industry on things to look out for! Whilst of course still keeping it fun and real!
