I take stories of every day life and throw a little color to it all. Not one for glamour even though I've been on TV, films, radio, hundreds of magazines-newspapers and other public journals, I've often felt the simplest of life's pleasures and joys can be found in everyday life. Simple works. People are curiously quirky in their own way and can be quick with with and responses to some of the silliest moments in day to day interactions with one another.

People find themselves whirling in their existence and many keep their lives together by shoestrings, but laughter and engaging in "what was that" moments are fun. Most people are still pretty social to some level. I find that if you don't ask too much of people to engage, they'll give you morsels of their personalities. When I engage with people and they tell me they have kids and pets, I often ask what their personalities are like. With the kids, I ask "what kind of creativity are they engaged in". When I chat with adults, I often as "what do you do for fun when you're not working?" and followed up with "what are your creative proclivities?...but don't ask me how to spell that word. I just want to sound smart, not actually be smart." Which often follows with laughter. Laughter, y'all is good medicine...and a great many of us are doctors this way prescribing to one another a little dopamine, serotonin and some oxytocin. We're social. This is how we learn to get along with one another. Keep it a little surface until we can go deep. Laughing at oneself is a great icebreaker.
Stay well. May you find peace within.
