Celebrating Citizens UK's Living Wage for Health and Social Care campaign.

In 2022, community leaders from 17 chapters came together and called for a real #LivingWage for health and social care workers - the only wage calculation that takes into account the cost of living.

Through Community Organising, they convinced local authorities, the Welsh Government, care providers and large NHS health trusts to commit to paying staff the real Living Wage. Based on the estimated total impact of these commitments, including accreditations, that means 88,096 people benefitting.
