In this Physics video lecture we explained collision in Hindi for class 11 and also discussed on its types. basically, collision is of two types, elastic collision and inelastic collision. There is a special type of inelastic collision known as perfectly inelastic collision.
Elastic collision - In this type of collision total momentum and total energy of the system is conserved.
Inelastic collision - In this type of collision total momentum of the system is conserved but energy is not. Some energy is dissipated.
Perfectly inelastic collision - In this type of collision total momentum of the system is conserved and maximum energy is lost. After collision two bodies move togather sticking to each other.
In the upcoming videos we are going to find out final velocities of colliding bodies and energy lost during collision with the help of momentum conservation.
