Harbor Freight has two item numbers for their TailGator 900 watt portable 2-cycle generator. There is a 63024 and a 63025. These different item numbers are manufactured at different facilities and have a few quality control and part differences as well as packaging differences.

Based on my experience, it appears that the new TailGator #63024 is the equivalent of the older StormCat 69381, and that this would be the one to select when choosing a generator. That's not to say that you would have issues with the 63025, as it appears to have improved over the older 60338 quality, but still has lower quality finishing than the 63024.

In short,

StormCat 60338 = TailGator 63025
StormCat 69381 = TailGator 63024 (recommended)
