Hi! My name is Nicole. Thanks for joining us today and spending some of your time with me and my guide dog, Figaro.

Since I've had a substantial decline in my functional sight, I have been taking Braille and Assistive Technology classes for a few weeks now.
Today we welcome you to join Figaro and I for Braille and Assistive Technology classes. It will be interesting to look back at this video when I have gotten much further in my classes and have become more proficient. I typically don't watch my own videos back, but I might make a point of doing so with this one to see the change in my skill and reading speed and proficiency.

Learning these skills is really tough as an adult learner, but I'm so grateful for the opportunity to read with my daughters again!
