Vaitheeswaran Kovil or Pullirukkuvelur is a Hindu temple, located in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Shiva is worshipped as Vaidyanathar or Vaitheeswaran. amman is worshiped as thaiyalnayagi. It is one of the navagraga temple,it houses Angarakan (mars).

On every tamil month of chitirai, a small community called Nagarathars will go to this temple.. It is a tradition carried on for centuries. they travel by foot (Nadai Payanam) from their native places to vaitheswaran koil.
