Propaganda is a potent form of communication, and despite initial server issues, I succumbed to the allure of Super Earth's intergalactic war in Helldivers. I swiftly sped through the tutorial, joining more experienced friends for my first missions. Lower difficulties meant fewer enemies, leading to boredom, friendly fire mishaps, and explosions.

Unlocking difficulty 2 didn't alter the story much - still learning and blowing things up. But at difficulty 3, the game truly started. Drop ships, formidable bots, and fortifications with turrets made the battles intense. The propaganda convinced me that dropping on the bots was a patriotic duty.

Difficulty 4 brought the infamous planet, "Malevolent Creek" (misread as such by my two brain cells), and it lived up to its name – a robot Vietnam. Facing ruthless robots with red lasers, solo missions on difficulty 4 were disastrous.

Calling for backup on difficulty 5, armed with heavy artillery, the team faced a defense mission. Little did I know, the onslaught of automatons would prove relentless, rendering our heavy weaponry futile in the face of chaos.
