Hi, As shown I use what I consider lightish gauge stings on my D12-20 and my H1270. I tune down one tone (dD-dd) so they sound better, and the tensions are not high.

NOTE: It has been pointed out to me that at 2:12 I held up the D'addario EJ37 packet and said "Martin" instead of D'addario. This is, of course, a slip of the tongue and I should have said "D'addario" . My apologies, I rarely work with a script. That's all, carry on, move on, smoke if you got 'em.

How come the only real light gauge 12 string sets are these two - Martin M190s and D'addario EJ37s?
So, what do you use on your 12 string guitars ...and why?
