Ingredients :
Shea butter : 1 cup.
Coconut butter : 2/3 cup.
Castor oil : ¼ cup.
Caustic soda : 1/3 cup.
Water : ¾ cup.

Soda: Use gloves, a mask, and glasses.
No children or pets nearby.
Beware! Always pour soda into water and not the contrary.
Shake well water-soda to avoid agglomeration.
Soda and butter should be at 122°F.
Choose glass, wood, stainless steel containers.
Avoid using containers for cooking afterwards.
Be cautious with Caustic soda! Comply with the dose.
Quantity of oil (G) x Saponification Value = Soda quantity (G)
Castor oil brings softness and foam. 5% is enough.
The butters will bring softness and hydration to the skin.
Choose shea preferably unrefined.
We can use a manual whip.
The mixture is ready when a trail stays on the whisk.
Dyes and natural scents can be added afterwards.
Quickly pour the mixture into mold.
Let stand in the dark for 24 hours before cutting.
Allow to dry at 20°, aerated, for a minimum of 1 month.
Even if the soap is dry, it is not saponified yet.
The pH of the soap should be between 8 and 10.
