On Saturday 30th September 2023, the Southern Downs Steam Railway ran a train to the small town of Clifton in conjunction with the Warwick Celtic Festival. Upon arrival at Clifton, the passengers were treated to a 2 course meal at one of the local establishments before boarding the train for the return to Warwick.

Due to the high fire conditions that day DH45 was utilized in place of the steam locomotive.
