KINGS ROAD perform the classic Stones cover Can't You Hear Me Knockin' at the Harlin Reunion Bash, Nov 13, 2010. Kings Road was a cover band in the early 1990s created when former Harlin members guitarist Steve Mooshian, bassist Brett Scott (Scarlet Crush), and drummer Drake Thompson teamed up with singer/guitarist Kip McClellan. While Steve and Kip still play together, this was the first time Drake and Brett had played with them together in 17 years.

Kip McClellan - Lead vocals, lead and rhythm guitar
Steve Mooshian - Lead and rhythm guitar, backing vocals
Brett Scott - Bass
Drake Thompson - Drums, backing vocals
John Milliken - Percusion
Bill Sharplin - Tambourine

A special highlight in this performance is Kip's guitar rendering of Bobby Keys' sax solo from the original Stones' recording. Also, Moosh's solo at the end, and the nice interplay between Kip and Steve throughout is Very Tasty. Also featured on percussion is drummer John Milliken, and on tambourine is guitarist Bill Sharplin, both from Jack The Music (Whil Harlin's new band at the time).

Recorded live at Bomb Shelter Studios in Westminster,CA, November 13, 2010. Video footage shot by Randy and Erich. Audio recording and video editing by Weird Old Uncle Kenny.
