A couple of hours in Galway bay (Clare side)

The plan was to fish piers in Kinvara and around.

After an hour and getting plenty of small pollock (only 10-15cm) I decided to go further out on my favorite rock mark...

I didn't expect to catch anything bigger than a pound or two, braid was a 10-pound Daiwa J4 which seemed to be big too weak for fish I had to pull it up on the rock ledge.

Lesson learned.
Still one of the best sessions in the last while :)
Love the light gear sensitivity and fighting the fish.
