I thought it would be fun to do a video on what it actually feels like to wear pointe shoes!

Many adult ballet dancers are curious about pointe work, before I started ballet as an adult, I didn’t even know if it was possible to get en pointe as an adult.

So I hope my ramblings in this video help you on your ballet journey, if you have any questions feel free to comment them below or DM me!

When we start ballet as an adult, our bodies are already formed from our experiences. As an adult ballet dancer myself, I understand what it is like to work with what you have in order to progress in ballet. This is why I’ve sought further education and am proudly Barre Body, Progressing Ballet Technique and Progressing Contemporary Technique certified. Unfortunately, adult ballet dancers don’t have the same opportunities as those who start as a child, so I’m here to change this and make ballet accessible for all!
