This video should really be called 'How Not to Hike to Boyana Waterfall'!! Let us show you what not to do and learn from the mistakes we made!

The hike to the waterfall is actually a beautiful route (as long as you don't get lost like we did). To reach the starting point of the walk you can take a taxi to Boyana Church (it cost us 10Lev) or use public transport. From Serdika, take the blue line to Vitosha metro station. From there take bus number 64 to Boyanski Hanche (Боянско Ханче ). It's a 3 minute walk to the church from there.
